I founded Heathwell Therapies in 2024 in Blackheath Village, where I have worked for many years. Having lived in Lewisham for over two decades, I wanted to create a space in the local area where experienced therapists could work together and offer high quality therapy within a supportive and professional environment.

After many years in private practice, I saw how difficult it can be for people to find the right therapist. Heathwell was created as an alternative to large, impersonal platforms and long waiting lists. Every therapist who joins Heathwell is chosen for their experience, training, and professional integrity, so clients can feel confident that they are working with someone highly qualified and genuinely committed to their wellbeing.

The practice brings together therapists with extensive backgrounds across the NHS, education, and private practice, offering a wide range of specialisms including relationship and couples therapy, ADHD and neurodiversity, relational trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Several therapists also offer psychosexual therapy, family and adolescent work, and older adult mental health.

Heathwell has a strong local presence in Blackheath and Lewisham, serving clients from Greenwich, Hither Green, Kidbrooke, Charlton, and across Southeast London. Most of the therapists are local residents who share a deep connection with the community and an understanding of the importance of accessible, thoughtful therapy.

Following the success of the first consulting room on Brigade Street, I opened a second space on Tranquil Vale, directly opposite Blackheath Station. Both rooms provide calm, private settings where clients can engage in meaningful therapeutic work in person, with the option of online sessions when needed.

My aim for Heathwell continues to be simple and clear: to create a trusted local practice that reflects the highest standards of psychotherapy, delivered by experienced and compassionate professionals who value personal connection and clinical excellence.
