About
I moved from Corfu to London in 2000 to study psychology and have made it my home ever since. After completing my psychology degree, I trained in counselling and psychotherapy, naturally gravitating towards the existential approach. It was a natural choice as existential philosophy always resonated with how I view and understand life, people, and the challenges we face. I was particularly drawn to its emphasis that meaning emerges through our relationships and encounters with others, and that even amidst suffering, we can discover new possibilities for how we want to live.
Since qualifying as a therapist in 2008, I've dedicated my career to working with vulnerable people, particularly young people in the care system and within third-sector organisations. Over the years, I've worked as a psychotherapist across various settings, gaining experience with diverse presentations before transitioning to full-time private practice in 2021.
I'm an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), a member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT), and a member of the World Federation for ADHD (WFADHD). I regularly undertake professional development in my specialist areas to ensure my practice remains ethical, responsive, and evidence-informed.
In 2024, I founded Heathwell Therapies, a clinic based in Blackheath that specialises in adolescent support and relationship-focused therapy.
