ADHD 12 Session Programme
A 12-session ADHD Awareness & Strategies Programme to help you make sense of your symptoms and your lived experience of ADHD.
After working for years with ADHD my experience showed me that the clients that came to me to make sense of their ADHD and find ways to cope, didn’t always fit the other clients that came with different presentations.
Clients with ADHD needed a more practical and spaced out approach, based on both psychotherapeutic exploration combined with practical, personalised strategies.
This insight led me to develop a 12-session programme, spaced out over time, specifically designed to meet the needs of people with ADHD who are seeking therapy to better understand their symptoms and find practical, sustainable ways to navigate them.
This programme is ADHD-focused therapy that blends reflective, experiential work with practical strategies. It’s not delivered weekly — instead, it’s intentionally spaced out over approximately 9 months to give you time to integrate insights and try out new approaches between sessions.
We’ll meet weekly for the first three sessions to assess and understand your experience. From there, sessions will be spaced out, tailored to the goals we set together, with time for reflection, strategy-building, and follow-up.
Whether you’ve recently received a diagnosis or have long suspected ADHD, this process can be informative and hopefully transformative too.
You’ll deepen your self-awareness, understand your patterns, and build practical tools that truly work for you — not against you.
What the programme offers
This programme creates space to explore your experience with compassion, curiosity, and honesty.
Across 12 sessions, we’ll explore:
What ADHD means for you – beyond the checklist, into your unique way of thinking and being.
Your early experiences – including how undiagnosed ADHD and potentially growing up with an undiagnosed parent or parents may have shaped your development.
How ADHD affects your relationships, work, self-image, and emotional life.
Coping strategies and patterns – exploring what's helping, what's hindering, and what could and cannot change.
Common challenges like executive function difficulties, procrastination, impulsivity, and emotional overwhelm.
Your strengths – including creativity, sensitivity, hyperfocus, and non-linear thinking.
Shame, rejection sensitivity, masking, and self-criticism – and how to move toward self-acceptance.
Personalised strategies – from time management and routine to emotional regulation and communication.
This is not a one-size-fits-all programme — we’ll co-create the direction based on your needs and priorities.
Who is it for?
This programme is designed for:
Adults with a formal ADHD diagnosis
Adults exploring the possibility of ADHD and seeking clarity
People feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or burnt out
Anyone wanting to relate to their ADHD with more compassion and self-understanding
You don’t need to have it all figured out, just a willingness to start.
My approach
As a therapist specialising in ADHD, I offer a warm, collaborative, and person-centred space. I integrate psychoeducation with existential therapy, helping you reflect on your experience while also offering practical tools to support change.
You are the expert on your life — my role is to help you hear yourself more clearly and support you in developing strategies that are realistic, affirming, and flexible.
Please note: This is not a diagnostic or assessment service. I cannot diagnose ADHD, but I can support you in navigating the diagnostic process if needed.
